This is the second submission of this proposal — huge thanks to everyone who voted and engaged with the previous one. It didn't pass due to quorum, but the support shown was deeply appreciated. We’re hoping this revised version garners the full backing of the VRBS community and reaches the finish line.

Summary

We are seeking a one-time sponsorship of 1 ETH from VRBS DAO to fund the first live pilot of the Web3 Digital Identity Curriculum — a fully developed, classroom-ready program designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Web3: wallets, blockchain domains, NFTs, decentralization, DAOs, and more.

This pilot class will:

• Reward 10 students with $100 USDC each for completing the course and offering feedback
• Cover the costs of content delivery, branding, production, and strategic school outreach

In return, VRBS DAO will be the sole “Pilot Sponsor” and Founding Educational Ally — gaining permanent, high-visibility brand placement in all materials, recordings, certificates, and future public-facing launches of the curriculum.

This one-time action offers lifetime exposure and alignment with the first educational product of its kind — a Web3-native, school-ready identity course.

Purpose

The curriculum is already written and professionally structured — what we need now is one cohort to bring it to life, record it, and gather feedback that sharpens its final form.

This is the only time scholarships will be rewarded, and the only time a Pilot Sponsor position will ever be offered.

What makes this unique:

• Students receive USDC + onchain certs
• All sessions will be recorded and edited
• Curriculum includes not only identity, but wallets, NFTs, blockchain, decentralization, and more
• Future lessons will easily expand into DAO education, governance, and civic onchain tools

This is a solid foundational course for anyone new to Web3 — structured in a way that makes onboarding frictionless.

About the Pilot Class

• Total Students: 10

  • 6 online students will be selected from a public DeForm or Google Form sign-up via X
  • 4 in-person students will be recruited via local community sign-up

• Format:

  • 4-week sprint (2 sessions per week)

  • Each session is 1 hour, including:

    • Instructor-led slides
    • Worksheets & activities
    • Mini-quizzes & guided discussion

• Delivery:

  • Classes held in person and simultaneously streamed via Google Meet
  • Branding visible on Google Meet backgrounds, slides, and recordings

• Post-Pilot:

  • Edited recordings will be packaged as demo content
  • Used to pitch curriculum to charter schools, STEM programs, and vocational orgs nationwide
