We are back! We successfully completed Paint It Quack Fest! — a live mural and VRBS onboarding event at Public Trade School 'CETPRO Ana Jarvis' in Trujillo, Peru. Thanks to the local community support and material donations, the mural is now finished.
We’re requesting retrofunding to reward and recognize the 49 volunteers who made this possible, and to continue expanding VRBS through the Public Trade School and Nounish Art School.
✅ VRBS Mural Completed – Despite not receiving funding initially, we divided the event into two stages for budget reasons and finished the mural through community support and donations.
✅ Mural NFT (2 parts) – Created to connect the physical mural with onchain culture.
✅ Community Participation
✅ Stickers Distributed + Sold – We gave away stickers to onboard locals and sold 100+ stickers, showing strong conversion from engagement into sales (~13% conversion vs. 2–3% e-commerce average).
✅ Onboarding to VRBS – Local artists and students were introduced to VRBS and onchain art culture through a VRBS meetup and an activation at the Nounish Art School.
We completed the painting of the BIG VRBS MURAL, but our commitment to improving the interior spaces of the Trade School continues. Since merch production wasn’t possible with the limited budget, our plan is to sell part of the merch to raise more funds for the Trade School. In gratitude to VRBS, we will return 15% of the merch sales to the VRBS treasury.

This is not just about one mural — it’s about building momentum. We proved that with community support and determination, VRBS can inspire real-world activations.
Retrofunding ensures contributors are recognized, strengthens trust in the ecosystem, and motivates more artists and communities to bring VRBS to life.
✨ Paint It Quack Fest! shows how VRBS sparks action IRL. Let’s keep building this energy together.
