Grass roots movements should be owned in large part by the people building them. One of the main goals of Vrbs is to enable builders to earn voting power for their efforts.
Until we get the grants program paying out $vrbs in addition to USDC, we'd like to manually reward the top builders in the DAO with $vrbs. That way, they can earn more voting power in the DAO for growing our network and treasury.
You can view the weekly builders leaderboard on the new Growth page. The plan is to take a snapshot of the builders leaderboard every Friday at 12:00pm EST, and send $vrbs to the top 4 builders.
To accomplish this, we'd like to spend 0.1 ETH every week to purchase $vrbs for these builders, for the next 3 months.

At current $vrbs prices, this equates to about ~2k in voting power a week dedicated to builders.
Since we're buying $vrbs directly from the DAO token emitter, 100% of the funds from this proposal will go back into the treasury or grants program through the $vrbs votes purchases.
Funds will be sent to the Vrbs grants wallet, managed by Woj, Jerk and rocketman on Base.
Will it always be 4 for the 3 months?
If a ton of new builder come in I would assume the amount would go up. Another approach is to award anyone who has earned for the DAO in the week an amount proportional to what they earned or percentage based where it's a fixed reward amount split between all the earners based on their percentage..
