Street Artist Residency

What's your background?

My name is ROM and I'm a visual artist graduated from an art school, I'm currently working on web3 illustrations and commissions because I love this means of expression and I'm looking for further training and continue to develop artistic areas such as animation, pixel art and comics. I am also dedicated to tattoos in my city and together with a group of colleagues we do projects related to illustration. I am also dedicated to acting and audiovisual production in an amateur way.

What will you be doing?

In my student days I used to make graffiti in my city as an artistic and rebellious seal, as I grew up I moved that kind of expression to the muralism in public spaces so I plan to resume a project of urban intervention with my group of colleagues in order to beautify the streets and leave messages that dialogue with the community in which they will be painted and promote dialogue and culture, which is currently attacked by some social and political sectors.

Time you can commit

At the moment I am on vacation at my university, so for a month I can dedicate a couple of hours two to three days a week and then add 4 or 5 hours once a week, mainly on Sundays.

Why you care about Vrbs?

It is a community that I am getting to know and in which I see many opportunities but especially a space to contribute from my artistic place. I am also glad to be part of this kind of communities like Nouns in which I had the pleasure to make my contributions.
